Well, hi there! I've got two 50g skeins of my very own, hand dyed superwash merino yarn in a DK weight, about 123 yards. It's a lovely, lovely blue and white that looks just like the summer sky to me. Leave a comment here and let me know what you're looking forward to this spring/summer and I'll pick two winners on Wednesday the 15th. (See? Something good can happen on the 15th...it's not just tax day...) And seeing as I'm no Soulemama, I'd say your odds of winning are pretty good... I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I swoon over your yarn...really I do! That blue is lovely and just the color of the sky right now. This summer I'm looking forward to two things: 1- coming increasingly closer to finishing graduate school and 2- being barefoot in the grass and sand. Have a lovely weekend!

Beautiful yarn and a lovely pic. The sun has just decided to return to Vermont and I'm hoping it stays.

Gooooorgeous colors in that yarn (as always)! Here's what I'm looking forward to, and it sounds a little creepy, but trust me, it's not: I can't wait to feel air on my body. Call it strange, but I've been so thickly wrapped in woolens and under-woolens for months now I think I've forgotten what it's like to go outside with just one layer of clothes on, such that you can really feel yourself coming into contact with the natural environment. And we're just not there yet in Chicago! It's 45 degrees out there right now.

What beautiful yarn! Right now I'm looking forward to being barefoot. I'm sick of wearing socks and shoes all the time!

Gorgeous! I am looking forward to tomato salad! There is no better dinner on a hot summer night that homemade tomato salad with basil and olive oil and fresh, crusty bread to dip in the juices...mmmmm!

That is a truly beautiful shade of blue, reminds me of carolina blue skies. This will be the first summer in four years that I won't spend traveling, and I'm looking forward to spending it with friends and having time to work on all the crafty projects that school gets in the way of. I'm also excited for beach weekends and road trip adventures. I love the heat, so I can't wait for warmer weather.

This yarn is stunning!
This spring & summer I'm looking forward to helping my 3 year old son plant his very first garden... It will be so much dirty, muddy, messy fun!

Gorgeous stuff! I think the thing I'm most excited about this summer is seeing the tree outside my window get leaves again. All winter, I've been looking out this window at this bare, gray tree. I can't wait to look out and see lush green!

VERY lovely yarn!
I can't wait to get out and play in the gardens! The smell of fresh dirt, newly cut grass and lots of sunshine to sit and knit in!!

I look forward to planting a small garden alongside my condo and knitting for charity out on the deck with my three cats. It will feel so good to have the warmth of the sun on my shoulders again! Lovely blue yarn!
